EXAMPLES OF PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR PACKAGING

Products which are suitable for packaging using PFM technology can be sub-divided into 4 categories, i.e. solids, liquids, granules and powders. In each of these categories we can find products from the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors and these represent the main markets for PFM.

Food products: milk and its derivatives (cheese-in its various forms, mozzarella, powdered milk, fresh milk); meat and its derivatives (fresh, frozen, cured, cooked and sliced meats); bakery products (all types of bread, including long-life, various types of biscuits, breadsticks); sweet products (various shapes of candies , chewing gum, toffee, pastries); snacks (both sweet and savory, mini-cakes, sandwiches etc.); fruit and vegetable products (both cut or whole, in trays etc.).

Chemical products: detergents, both in powder or pellet form, other products, in powder, liquid or solid form.

Pharmaceutical products: moisturizing wipes; syringes; many other pharmaceutical products.
